Anne Arundel County Public Works recently purchased promotional items to help make the public aware of Backflow issues.  Backflow is a term in plumbing for an unwanted flow of water in the reverse direction.^[1] It can be a serious health risk for the contamination of potable water supplies with foul water.  

Public Works purchased imprinted tote bags,  can coolers,  pens, and bottle openers to give away at public events.  This is a great example of how promotional items can be used to increase awareness of important issues.
